Finally, you can enhance your power by keeping your hands in continuous contact with the club throughout your swing. If your hands are too far away from the body, making it difficult to stabilize your body and lose your footing. Also, trying to hit the ball with a lot of your arm and shoulder will lead to inconsistent swings, causing you to end up hitting more fade shots than longer golf shots.
Always practice with a buddy, so you can watch one another’s golf swing during each hole. When you see other players’ golf swings, you will have the ability to pick out what you want to do differently, in order to improve your own swing.
