Lastly, you can improve your power by keeping your hands in constant contact with the club throughout your swing. If your hands are too far away from the body, making it difficult to stabilize your body and lose your footing. Also, trying to strike the ball with too much of your shoulder and arm will lead to inconsistent swings, causing you to end up hitting more fade shots than longer golf shots.

Always practice with a buddy, so that you could watch each other’s golf swing during each hole. When you see other players’ golf swings, you will be able to pick out what you would like to do differently, in order to improve your own swing. As you practice, remember to always keep your head down, to focus on swinging the club, and also to rotate your shoulders in opposite directions during your swing.
